While the ambiance and historic charm are captivating, the service left much to be desired. Slow breakfast, inconsistent communication, and issues with amenities can tarnish the experience. A stay here offers lovely surroundings but be prepared for bumps in service that make a luxury experience feel less than it should.

The Superior Double Room was really comfy and stylish, with a spacious layout. Loved the heated bathroom floors – such a nice touch! The bed was super cozy, making it hard to leave in the mornings. But there was some dust in the corners, which could have been better cleaned. Overall, a beautiful room with all the right vibes.

I recently visited Des Indes and the location couldn’t be better. Right in the heart of The Hague, perfect for exploring the city. The room was lovely, spacious, and nicely decorated, with a wonderful view of the rooftops. I truly enjoyed the luxurious breakfast with freshly baked pastries each morning, a great start to the day. Staff were friendly and attentive, which made me feel welcomed. However, I faced some issues with the check-in process. The receptionist handed me the key without mentioning the room number or floor, which confused me initially. Also, the spa reservation process was unclear. Cleanliness was another concern. I found dust on the lamps and some unclean spots in the bathroom. Despite these inconveniences, the charm of the hotel, combined with historical significance and a warm atmosphere, made my stay enjoyable. I would consider returning, hoping for smoother service next time.

Our family had such a lovely stay! The spacious Junior Suite provided plenty of room for the kids to play. During my stay, I loved that everything is within walking distance, from the Mauritshuis to beautiful parks like Noordeinde Palace, making my city strolls so enjoyable and effortless.

The breakfast area felt cramped, especially on weekends, leaving guests waiting for tables while the hotel also accommodated outside diners. Communication regarding breakfast reservations seemed to falter, as my prepaid breakfast was not recognized, leading to some disappointing moments during checkout—a hassle that should’ve been smoother for a place with such a reputation.

This hotel suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a fitness center, and 24-hour reception. The staff once assisted me with sim cards which I appreciated. I highly recommend it, and I'm coming back for Easter.

The room was outdated, with a very small window that offered no view. Maintenance was lacking, as I reported a broken lock and never received any help. Breakfast was mediocre at best. the eggs seemed to come out of a bag and were tasteless. Overall, I felt let down by the lack of attention to detail, especially given the hotel's supposed luxury rating.
